Damaged cutting tools cost more time and money to fix, than ones being maintained well. Pick somebody to sharpen and shape your knives, scissors, or edged cutting tools, who aims for people's eyes to light up when they see them perform better than new. Avoid people doing it for the money or status they might gain. Remember, the better you care for your cutting tools, the less you have to pay to make them cut well again, and less often too. If you happen to have some serious damage, I can probably fix it for a fee. But if you take care of it, I can sharpen it quickly and the fee will be minimal.
